The Privacy Policy relates to the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), which is Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data. Terms defined in the GDPR are also used in our Privacy Policy.
Method and purpose of personal data processing
The Running Association Bistrc collects personal data only on the basis of the individual’s prior consent, given through the membership application form of the Running Association Bistrc, or otherwise expressed in writing to receive notifications.
Recording of membership in the association
For the purpose of joining the Running Association Bistrc, the following personal data of the user are processed: first and last name, date of birth, address, phone number, and email address.
Members’ personal data are processed on the legal basis of a ‘contract’, as by applying you accept the Statute of the Running Association Bistrc. If you do not provide us with this data, we would not be able to admit you as a member of the association.
The user’s personal data will be processed as long as necessary to achieve the purpose for which the personal data were collected and further processed, unless the law provides a specific retention period for certain processing activities. Personal data will be processed for the duration of the contractual relationship, which starts from the moment the user submits a membership application to the Running Association Bistrc, and continues until the termination of the contractual relationship or the withdrawal of consent.
Automated decision-making and/or profiling are not carried out.
Contact form or email
By using the contact form or email, the user agrees to the processing of the submitted data for the purpose of asking questions related to the association’s activities or offerings, and to the use of the submitted contact information to establish communication.
In this case, personal data are processed on the legal basis of legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) for the purpose of communicating with the general public.
The retention period for personal data is until the communication is concluded or until the individual withdraws consent (if there is no further legal basis for continued processing, e.g., a contract).
The user may also submit specific questions to the association via the email addresses published on the website, thereby entrusting the controller with this data. These data will be used exclusively to address the user’s inquiry.
Personal data submitted in this case will be used only to respond to your inquiry and not for direct marketing. Data in the form will not be shared with third parties or used for any other purposes, except for the purpose of the content of the message submitted via the contact form or for establishing a business relationship.
Photos and video
On the website and social media, we also publish photos from the event, the course, competitions, etc. By participating in an event, competition, or other activity organized by TD Bistrc, the participant agrees to the publication of such photos.
A photo is considered personal data when the participant or the person photographed is clearly identifiable. In this case, photos are processed as personal data based on Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR: explicit consent; the individual to whom the personal data relates has consented to the processing of their personal data for one or more specific purposes (consent is given when registering for the competition), or, in cases where it is not possible to obtain consent due to special circumstances (e.g., recording an event in a public place attended by many people), also based on Article 6(1)(f): legitimate interests of the controller.
The retention period is until the individual withdraws consent, and the individual may exercise the rights outlined below.
