SNEŽNIK Trails

Each registered event participant must read carefully and agree to the rules of the Snežnik Trails event. In them you can find information about registration, restrictions, instructions and other answers to any questions you may have.

By agreeing to the rules or by signing the statement upon registration, the competitor agrees to compete at his own risk and to be familiar with the rules of the competition and the possibility of dangerous situations that may be an integral part of the competition.
By registering, the contestants also agree that the entire recorded film and photographic material can be publicly displayed and used for promotional purposes of the competition. The organizer reserves all the rights to dubbing and distributing the entire film and photographic material. (Privacy Policy)
Participating with no signed Statement is invalid.

Competition routes will be marked (strips, plates with directional signs, flags...), aid / refreshment stations with water and/or snacks will be arranged along the course, in case of predicted hot weather, additional refreshment stations will be added with water.
All competitors must stick to the marked planned routes. Any use of shortcuts and running outside the route is punishable by immediate expulsion from the competition. The directors will also be in key places to help with direction. 

Some competition routes cross a local road in certain parts, so compliance with road traffic regulations is mandatory. 

The competition will be held in any weather, with the exception of situations where the safety of the participants may be at risk (extreme weather events and other natural disasters). In such a case, the competition's organizing committee decides on the replacement version of the competition courses or even on the cancellation of the competition.

Directors, controllers and the rescue service will take care of the safety of competitors on the competition tracks. At any time on the track, the rescue staff, the controller or the director, who assesses that the competitor is no longer able to safely continue the race, can eliminate the competitor from the race, take care of it properly and, if necessary, arrange the transport to the finish area.
If the competitor does not comply with the decision of the rescue staff, the controller or the director, he is immediately excluded.

The exclusion of a competitor can be in the case of:

• disregarding marked competition routes
• using shortcuts
• using any form of transportation during a match
• throwing away or dumping garbage (except at snack bars) and endangering the flora and fauna along the competition track
• Replacing the start number with another competitor*
• avoiding helping teammates in trouble
• unsportsmanlike behavior, insulting teammates, organizer and third parties
• disregarding the instructions of the organizer, the rescue service and the controllers
• inappropriate content in photos or recordings posted after the competition that insults other participants, the organizer or a third party

For wearing the starting number in the wrong place, 15 minutes (Bistrška 10ka) or 30 minutes (other trails) are added to the final time.

In case of exclusion, after the end of the competition, the organizer will consider the reasons for it and decide on the prohibition of the participation of the excluded person next year or forever, if there are justified reasons for such a decision.
