Kozlek trail

The course

Start and finish are at Črne njive above Ilirska Bistrica. The rugged route is led along well-fortified macadam paths between tall pine trees and flowering karst grasslands. The route, which mainly climbs in the first part, is led under the picturesque ridge of Milanje, you will cross a picturesque scenic ridge, which is also known as Volovja reber. This is followed by a run along macadam paths through the mighty beech-fir forest of the Snežniška Plateau over the top of Kozlek and a descent along paths through forests and through karst meadows to the destination.
